Our client at the time was a global leader in ransomware post-breach remediation and cyber attack first response.

1.2 Critical Issue

Ransomware post-breach and cyber attack first response services depend on a critical breach. This is a very project based service offering with really long sales cycles and lead times. Strategically the organization wanted to also move higher up in the sales cycle to be a strategic advisor before any breach remediation service was needed.

2.0Reasons

The long term vision was to be acquired by one of the larger global enterprises that had long term visions of scaling up their own cyber security practice. It was important to add a proprietary recurring revenue stream to the business model.

2.1 Vision

The vision was to create a cyber security LMS education platform wholly owned by this organization with no reliance on 3rd party services or integrations in order to increase valuations.
